Itinerary
Travel: 10-hour drive
Stay: Hotel or homestay in Khati
Description: Arrive at Khati, the last village en route to the Pindari and Kafni glaciers. Explore the village, located on the banks of the Pindar River. Dinner and overnight stay.

Altitude: 2,468 m
Stay: Camp in Jaitoli village (KMVN)
Description: Trek through lush forests and picturesque landscapes to Jaitoli, the last village en route to Sunderdhunga. Dinner and overnight stay.
Trek: 14 km

Stay: Tents or KMVN
Description: Trek through alpine forests to Kathaliya, the last base en route to the Sunderdhunga Glacier, with stunning waterfalls and dense woodlands. Dinner and overnight stay.

The best time for this trek is from April to June and August to November when the weather is pleasant, and the views of the peaks are clear.
The Kanakata Pass trek is a moderate to challenging trek with steep climbs and rocky terrains. It requires good physical fitness, and prior trekking experience is recommended.
Accommodation is provided in tents, lodges, or homestays depending on the location. Tents are equipped with sleeping bags and mattresses.
Essential items include trekking shoes, warm clothes, rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottles, snacks, and personal medications. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
Cancellations within 15 days of the arrival date or no-show will not receive a refund. Cancellations made 15-30 days prior will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations made 30 days or more prior will receive a 90% refund (taxes are non-refundable).
