The Kuari Pass Trek is a 5-day, 4-night adventure in the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas. This moderately challenging trek offers breathtaking views of majestic peaks like Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and Kamet. Starting from Joshimath, the trail winds through lush forests, quaint villages, and expansive meadows, culminating at the stunning Kuari Pass. Itinerary
Arrival at Rishikesh: Reach Rishikesh by train, bus, or flight (morning/afternoon).
Drive to Joshimath: After meeting your trek leader, begin your scenic drive to Joshimath (approximately 10-12 hours).
Overnight Stay: Stay at a hotel or guesthouse in Joshimath.
Drive to Dhak Village: After breakfast, drive to Dhak Village (approx. 30 minutes).
Trek to Gulling Top: Begin your trek through oak and pine forests, reaching Gulling Top in about 3-4 hours. This campsite offers breathtaking views of Nanda Devi.
Overnight Stay: Camp at Gulling Top.
Trek to Khulara: Start the trek to Khulara, a scenic spot that serves as the base for the summit. The trek takes approximately 4-5 hours through forests and meadows.
Overnight Stay: Enjoy camping at Khulara, with views of the surrounding snow-covered peaks.
Summit Trek to Kuari Pass: After an early breakfast, ascend to Kuari Pass Summit. Enjoy panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Kamet, and other Himalayan giants.
Return to Khulara: Descend back to Khulara after spending some time at the summit.
Overnight Stay: Stay at Khulara campsite.
Trek Back to Dhak: After breakfast, begin your descent back to Dhak Village (approx. 4 hours).
Drive to Joshimath: From Dhak, board a vehicle back to Joshimath.
Drive to Rishikesh: After reaching Joshimath, take a drive to Rishikesh (approximately 10-12 hours).
Departure: Reach Rishikesh and depart for your onward journey.
